I'm Riding For
Jason Louis Herring
In loving memory of my brother, Jason Louis Herring. In 2019, Jason was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. What followed was a battle marked by incredible strength, courage, and determination. For nearly seven years, he fought with everything he had, inspiring those around him every step of the way. On April 22, 2026, Jason took his final breath in my arms. While my heart is broken, I am grateful for every moment we shared. His love, laughter, and unwavering spirit will remain with me forever. Rest easy, brother. Your fight is over, but your memory will live on in all who knew and loved you. Forever loved. Forever missed.
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
God Bless You.

My Challenge
-
It's that time of year.
15 Jul 2026This September, I'm taking on the **Great Cycle Challenge** by riding **200 miles** to help fight childhood cancer.
Every mile I pedal is for the children and families facing battles they never asked for. No child should have to endure cancer, and together we can help fund life-saving research and bring hope to those who need it most.
This ride is especially personal for me. I'm riding in loving memory of my brother, **Jason Herring**, who courageously fought colon cancer and passed away on **April 22, 2026**. His strength, faith, and perseverance continue to inspire me every day. While I can't change what cancer has taken from my family, I can honor his memory by helping others in the fight against this devastating disease.
My goal is to ride **200 miles** throughout September and raise **$2,500** for childhood cancer research.
If you're able, I would be deeply grateful for your support. Every donation—large or small—brings us one step closer to better treatments, brighter futures, and ultimately a cure. And if you're unable to give financially, I would truly appreciate your prayers and help sharing this message with others.
Thank you for believing in this mission and for helping me turn miles into hope.
*"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."* — **Galatians 6:2**
