Eli
This picture was taken May of 2021, right after we found out that Eli was terminal already. 2 months after his diagnosis. I did not have the balls nor the heart to tell him. We did not tell him. Until now, I’m not sure if I did the right thing. I will surpasss my goal for this ride for you my Baby Boy
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Eli died of brain cancer 5 years ago, one of the deadliest in the planet. It’s called Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM). He didn’t stand a chance. He didn’t deserve it. It happened so fast. I’m still angry, there are more people in this fuckin world who deserves to have that kind of cancer but not him, nor these innocent kids.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
Eli’s best friend, Neo, is now in college, hoping to be an oncology doctor one day. So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer. And one day to help Neo, help kids by curing their cancers.
