“MAGGIE !!!! Thank you so much. Blair was such a sensitive young man.... not my best bass student, but he really wanted to improve and enjoy music. I think you really understood him. It really breaks my heart as I remember visiting him in the hospital. He was very brave and really wanted to beat his disease, but it just wasn't to be. I just hope my efforts will help some other kids.”

My student Blair had just finished freshman year of high school, was planning an audition for the Indianapolis Youth Orchestra in mid-July, and then contacted me from the hospital in early July asking if he could submit his video later because he was in hospital. He never made it and passed away Sept 1st, just 8 weeks later. So tragic. I hope your grandson's treatment continues to go well and that he recovers fully. Best to you and all of yours! BOB”
