I'm Riding For
Kalea
My Story
Last year, I lost my daughter, Kalea, to childhood leukemia. She faced every challenge with incredible courage, strength, and love, and her spirit continues to inspire me every day.
This September, I’m taking on the Great Cycle Challenge by riding 170 miles in her memory. Every mile is for Kalea, for the children still battling cancer, and for the families walking a road no parent should ever have to travel.
I’m raising money to help fund lifesaving research, develop better treatments, and support children fighting this terrible disease. If my ride can help even one family experience a better outcome, every mile will be worth it.
If you’re able, please consider making a donation or sharing my page. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.
Thank you for helping me honor Kalea’s legacy and bring hope to children and families who need it most.

Day 1 — 22 Miles Down 🚴🏽♂️
2 Sep 2026Day 1 is officially in the books.
I went into my first ride thinking I’d just get out there, put some miles in, and start working toward my 170-mile goal. I ended up finishing 22 miles.
It was a late ride, but it felt good to finally have the challenge underway.
For me, this month is about more than seeing how many miles I can ride. It’s about challenging myself, doing better physically and mentally, and having a purpose behind every mile.
Most importantly, I’m riding in memory of Kalea and for all the children who are facing childhood cancer. That’s what keeps this challenge in perspective for me.
There’s still a long way to go, but I’m looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me.
22 / 170 miles.
148 to go. ❤️
