Once again, I am pleased and blessed to be healthy enough to take part of the Great Cycle Challenge. This is my eighth year riding to help fight kids' cancer, which is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. Which is where you and I come in.

I've ridden a lot of miles so far, which is good for an old man. Despite the pain in my knees, I've raised my goal back up to 500. I've also set a goal to raise more than $500, with $50 donated already. I look forward to thanking you once again for donating. And if this is your first time, I'll eat a gourmet cookie in your honor.

By the end of September this year, you, my friends, will have donated more than $4,500 to these kids. Thank you, and keep it up. Once again, your support will change little lives, maybe someone you know.
