This September, I continue to take part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer.

This cause is especially meaningful to me for a very personal reason.

My brother Mitchell loved riding his bike. He was also one of the most generous and caring people I knew. Tragically, Mitchell died in a bike accident three years ago, and he never got the chance to do the many great things he had planned for his life.

The year I lost him, I picked up a bike of my own and started cycling in his memory for the Great Cycle Challenge. Three years later, I'm still riding in his memory—doing something he loved and supporting a cause I know he would have wholeheartedly gotten behind.

Mitchell can't be here to take part in the Great Cycle Challenge, but I can. So I'm still riding for him and the future he didn't get to have, and for the kids who are fighting cancer and the futures they deserve.

And that's what brings me to this challenge.

Right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

I'm raising funds to support Children's Cancer Research Fund and their work to develop lifesaving treatments and ultimately find a cure for childhood cancer.
