This September, I'll be participating in my 4th year of the Great Cycle Challenge, and I've committed to riding 300 miles to help fight kids' cancer.

This cause has always been important to me, but this year it hits especially close to home. The son of one of my closest friends, a brave little boy we all call "Little Greg," is currently battling cancer. Watching someone you care about face this fight reminds you just how devastating childhood cancer can be for children and their families.

Right now, cancer remains the leading disease-related cause of death among children in the United States, claiming the lives of 38 children every week. Kids should be spending their days playing, learning, and making memories, not sitting in hospitals fighting for their lives.

Over the next month, I'll be riding 300 miles in honor of Little Greg and every child facing this battle. My goal is to raise funds that will support life-saving research and help bring us closer to a future where no family has to hear the words, "your child has cancer."
