William "Bill" Henry Reuter

William "Bill" Reuter fought the fight of liver cancer and passed away June 1, 2026, in Mequon, Wisconsin. Bill was born on July 17, 1947, in Peoria, Illinois. We met in June 2020 and became instant friends with him and his faithful friend, Jerry Plato, when we moved into our Florida home down the street from them. Bill and Jerry were both bicyclists and often road when the community had charity or fun rides. Bill and Jerry moved back to Wisconsin to be close to family and created a beautiful home. Bill reached out every day after they moved through texts. The texts included many encouraging messages, prayers, and sayings. I am reminded each day of Bill's love and care for people and life...even though his text messages no longer reach my phone, they reach my heart. May he rest in peace and no he left lasting memories to last the rest of my lifetime. God Bless you Bill and please comfort Jerry.

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So, I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer. Let's see what this almost 77-year-old guy can pull off this year - especially with your wonderful, generous support.

I've had some health challenges this past few months, but the good Lord willing, I plan in putting in some bicycle rides for the cause.
