I'm Riding For

Eric Lyons

This month, The PENTA Building Group is sponsoring its employees as we participate in the Great Cycle Challenge to help fight childhood cancer. For me, this ride is deeply personal. I am riding in memory of Eric Lyons, a schoolmate and friend of my son, Liam. They met while attending Coral Academy of Science. Heartbreakingly, Eric lost his battle with childhood cancer far too soon. But there are still so many children fighting. So every day this month, every mile I ride will be in remembrance of Eric — and in honor of the children who are still battling, the families standing beside them, and the hope that one day no family will have to hear the words, “Your child has cancer.” Eric, these miles are for you. 💛
