This year I’ll be dedicating 100 miles in the month of September to the Great Cycle Challenge to help fight kids’ cancer.
To make the journey even more exciting, I’ll be riding my new Specialized Diverge Elite bike. Wowza, right? This bike should make completing those 100 miles a breeze!
I’ll be posting updates and sharing the routes I ride along the way. Here we go—another year of moving forward, pushing the pedals, and helping make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support and encourage me on this journey. Let’s ride!

This year I was more determined than ever to reach my fundraising goal of $1,000, and together we made it happen. It has truly been an honor to be part of something so life-changing for kids fighting cancer. Every donation, every mile, and every bit of support means more than words can express. Knowing we’re helping bring hope, strength, and smiles to these brave kids makes this journey incredibly rewarding. Thank you all for believing in the cause and standing beside me every step of the way.
Back in 2020, I was dealing with some serious foot & leg pain—one of those things that slows you down physically and mentally. Every step was a reminder that something wasn’t right, and it started to wear on me. But in the middle of that struggle, something happened that shifted my whole perspective.
A young neighbor of mine, son who was battling cancer spoke to me with a few kind and strengthening words that I didn’t expect. Despite everything he had been going through, he looked at me and said not to worry—that the pain wouldn’t last forever.
That moment stuck with me. (Till this day!!)
Here I was focused on my own discomfort, and this kid, facing something far bigger, was the one encouraging me. It humbled me, inspired me, and honestly changed the way I looked at pain and perseverance. That’s when I knew I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself.
Joining the Great Cycle Challenge USA wasn’t just about riding a bike—it was about honoring that strength, that mindset, and doing my part to fight for kids who show more courage in a day than most of us do in a lifetime.
That’s why I decided to ride & raise funds towards this very special cause.
