WOW! Thank You All!!!!

Back in 2016 I took it upon myself to raise a little money ($1517.59) in honor of a littler boy who made an impression on me, That Boy was Sammy LeMar

He was the son of an old high school buddy who unfortunately had been diagnosed with cancer. I had helped out with a make a Wish project for Sammy and his family by framing a sport jersey for the room that they were creating in their basement for the entire family to spend time together. I had done things like this in the past for other causes over the years because as a business owner you get hit up all of the time, but this was different....Sammy and his family actually came in to my store to say thank you..I am sure it wasn't an easy trip, Sammy was in a wheelchair and I am sure he wasn't feeling well, but he came in to say Thanks, and it wasn't a Mom and Dad are making me say this type thing, this stuck with me...(side note, you would not believe how many times a business donates to causes and never hears anything afterwards, think about that next time you are asking)

Fast forward to today, 11 years later, All I can say is that YOU ALL have made an impression on me....After matching funds, YOU raised $8652.23 in just one day!!! All I can say is that YOU ALL are SUPER HEROES!! This morning I am kinda speechless, all I can really say is THANK YOU soooo much...

I say Super Heroes because Sammy loved his Super Heroes. Today, September 9th....ALL DONATIONS MATCHED!!

For as long as I can remember Cancer has been in my life, not me personally, but as a kid it was my mom, and my younger cousin. As I grew older it was more of my family, actually, too many of my family, and it was friends. 12 years ago, I had the honor of meeting the son of an old high school buddy who was battling cancer and he and his family had gone through hell and back yet he had a smile on his face and a positive attitude. Sam was a Super Hero just like all of the ones he loved in the movies and comic books. Little did he know it but his super power was what made me to find a way to raise awareness and money for Childhood Cancer Research This is Year Number 11 for YOU and me, WE have raised almost $45K over these past 10 years and WE need to raise more, because kids should be living their lives not fighting for them. Last year WE raised over $7300 and I would love to raise at least $5876 this year so WE can hit $50k total raised over 11 years...., Here is how you can help.....Of course you can donate at any time, with any amount, BUT...If you donate TODAY, Wednesday, September 9th, donations are matched by a couple different companies.
