The wind was unrelenting - an invisible and very formidable opponent. This ride today is in honor of and is dedicated to my mom, Kathy, and my father-in-law, Dick. My mom is a fighter and has battled her formidable opponent with strength, courage and ferocity … the invisible opponent is the mental struggle that continues after battling the physical condition. She continues to battle both but primarily the mental component now. My father-in-law has just started his battle - he is tough, mentally and physically. His formidable opponent shouldn’t stand a chance against his will, determination and fight. Of course, all this strength and healing comes from the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Great Physician.
