Cool 68° and if you fall colors popping up a couple loops around beautiful park and lakes this morning.
Once again, the GCC app failed as I was around the backside of the lake so I had to rely on my back up GPS for the 8 mile ride and log this manually.
Hot
Early evening ride for the kids
Early morning peaceful ride.
Went to Minnehaha Park for this morning’s 7.65 mile ride. I was running the GCC app along with my “Ride with GPS” app, and right at the end of my ride I completely lost all of the GCC app ride logging. Sadly, I have to manually add this one. That’s why I run two apps but here’s the map and pic
Tried the Raleigh because the handles were hiring and act more like a cruise type bike, but the seat has a ring in it, so it actually made me feel unstable since my left wrist is sprained, and therefore I think it was putting a little more strain holding on. It’ll be back to old blue for future rides.
Just gotta keep paddling for the kids while at the same time trying not to use my left sprained hand/wrist much except for balance… So low miles this year per ride, but I’ll get there. I promise.
After crashing on Ride 2, instead of building up distance, sadly I’ll be doing shorter rides for awhile. (6.2 and later 2.9 mile rides at Castlewood on paved paths today) Sprained and bruised L thumb/palm/wrist and bruised scraped mid R fingers. Some knee scrapes and minor back pain. But I’ll ride through it mildly for the kids that sadly suffer with so much more pain and sickness.
Stupid Maneuver of mine caused me to fall with minor injuries – sprained thumb/wrist and scraped knees, foot and knuckles. GCC kids are so brave and have so much more pain, that mine are nothing.
First ride is in memory of ambassador Kylie. Prayers to her family 🙏
