September Is Ride Month: The Great Cycle Challenge Begins

This September, Meli’s Miracle Riders are hitting the road for the Great Cycle Challenge — riding 200 miles to raise funds for childhood cancer research.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. Yet cancer remains the #1 disease‑related killer of children in the U.S. Over 15,700 kids are diagnosed each year, and 38 children lose their lives every week. We’re riding to change that.

We’re proud to honor Melissa Sands, an RN in the pediatric oncology department at Cohen Children’s Medical Center — a true superhero to the kids she cares for. Her dedication inspired our team leader, Sandra, to get involved the only way she could: by getting on her bike. This year, she’s joined by new riders who are ready to conquer their fear of city cycling and pedal for a purpose 😁.
